윤기강은 주변에 존재하는 것들로부터 작업을 시작한다.
최근에는 카메라가 이미지를 생성하는 프로세스 속에서 발생하는 오류,
혹은 오류라고 일컬어지는 현상들에 주목하고 이를 작업의 핵심 기제로 긍정한다.
규격화된 이미지 생산 체계에서 벗어나는 이러한 순간들은 사진 매체의 작동 방식을 다시 묻고 탐색하는 계기가 된다.
